How to Install Spindle
This Microsoft Dynamics NAV guide looks at the set and installation of Spindle, a Document Management programe that fully integrates with Dynamics ERP. For more information on Spindle check out our Business Apps for NAV page.
1. Start by installing the client. Right click and run the Installer as Administrator
3. Click on “I accept…” and then click on “Next”
4. Click on “Next”
5. Select “Microsoft Navision / Microsoft Dynamics NAV” and then click “Next”
6. Click “Next”
7. Click “Install”
8. This will now begin installing…
9. Click on “Finish”
10. A new window will pop up to setup the user. Click “Next”
11. Fill in all the fields and then click on “Next”
12. Choose your default printer and then click “Next”
13. Pick a default fax machine if you have one and then click “Next”
14. Select the email software that you use and then click “Next”
15. Select your email profile and type in the password. Then click “OK”
16. Select your CRM software if you use any and then click “Next”
17. Click “Next”
18. Click “Finish”
19. Open “Spindle Professional Tools” and then click “Logon”. No credentials are required.
20. Click on the Key icon at the top.
21. Paste in your license key and then click “OK”
22. Click on “User Settings” >> “Options” >> type in the location of your spindle database >> click “Apply”
Spindle is now configured for your user.
