Microsoft Business Solutions brand change
Microsoft has recently announced its re-branding of Microsoft Business Solutions to its new brand of Microsoft Dynamics™. This new brand aligns the Microsoft Business Solutions products with the Microsoft research and development (R&D) roadmap, code named ’Project Green’.
This change affects Microsoft® Business Solutions–Axapta®, Microsoft Business Solutions–Great Plains®, Microsoft Business Solutions–Navision®, Microsoft Business Solutions–Solomon and Microsoft CRM. To help ensure a smooth transition, Microsoft will introduce the new brand over time in upcoming product and marketing communications. Microsoft Navision will in future be referred to as Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
Microsoft is keen to emphasise that these products are not going away, merely evolving inline with its business software strategy. Microsoft is delivering on its innovative business solutions vision in two waves over the next 2 years, enabling customers to achieve increased value sooner and without significant disruption.
