Update in our Privacy Policy to align with GDPR

General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a EU regulation designed to enhance all EU citizens data privacy and direct the way organisations across Europe approach, process and store data. GDPR will be adopted in UK law for post-Brexit legislation.

GDPR is the first change that is being made to Data Protection legislation in 20 years and is bound to a lot of processes being aligned for businesses. We are happy to confirm that we have looked at all the internal processes and external communication and all necessary steps have been taken to be fully compliant by 25th May deadline.

A few of the internal activities which are part of the GDPR project include, but are not limited to:

  • An analysis of how data flows between our customers, partners, suppliers and within our business. Highlighting areas of strength and weakness;
  • External analysis of our IT systems and security;
  • A review of all our internal and external processes with a specific focus on data storage, data movement and data transfer;
  • Staff training & competence;
  • An external review of our legal standing as a processor and the data protection clause in our customer agreement

As a result of these initiatives, we have already implemented some changes to our internal business practices which include an enhancement to our IT security. We have been working towards fully understanding our requirements and remaining actions so that we are fully compliant with the GDPR policy prior to the deadline.
